Privacy Notice
This beta notice describes how Elycta currently handles data. It is not a complete legal privacy policy.
Information used
Elycta processes the job description you provide, text extracted from your uploaded CV, and information you provide during application preparation, including mock interview answers. For accounts, Elycta stores your email address for sign-in and account management.
Analysis and application preparation
Elycta uses this information to analyse job descriptions and create Match Reports. When you continue signed in, it also supports application strategy, CV update suggestions, cover letters, interview preparation, and mock interview practice.
External AI processing
Elycta uses external AI services to process job descriptions, extracted CV text, and related application context for generation and evaluation. The information sent depends on the feature you use. Guest use also involves external AI processing.
Guest progress
Guest progress is stored for the current browser tab and is not saved to an Elycta account. Do not rely on it being available in another tab or after closing the tab.
To save an existing guest application, sign in and continue from your Match Report in the same browser tab.
Saved applications
When you are signed in, Elycta can save your job description, extracted CV text, analysis, CV update suggestions and choices, generated application materials, and mock interview answers. You can reopen saved applications from your Dashboard.
Uploaded files and downloads
Saved applications store extracted CV text, not a copy of the original uploaded CV file.
Text downloads of accepted CV updates and cover letters are created in your browser from the current content.
Deleting saved data
When signed in, you can delete an individual saved application from its application page. This also deletes its associated application preparation records.
From Account, you can delete your Elycta account and its saved application data. Elycta does not currently offer separate deletion of a CV or job description within a saved application.
These deletion controls do not send deletion requests to external AI services.
Cookies
Elycta uses cookies for sign-in and session management. A short-lived cookie is also used during password recovery.
